Last updated Dec 19, 2024

Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. We adhere to the following principles:

  • We carefully determine the personal information we collect and request from you.
  • Personal information is retained only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill its purpose.
  • We aim to provide you with maximum control over what information is shared, publicly or privately, indexed by search engines, or permanently deleted.
  • Transparency is a core value in how we collect, use, and share your personal information.

1. General information

This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you access or use our website, services, mobile applications, products, and content (collectively referred to as the “Services”).

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you register or communicate with us, we may collect your email address or other details you provide.
  • Third-Party Authentication: If you log in through third-party services like Google, Facebook or Apple, we may collect and update your profile information from those platforms.
  • Tracking Usage Data: We run the Plausible Analytics script to collect some anonymous usage data for statistical purposes. The goal is to track overall trends in our Site traffic, it is not to track individual visitors. All the data is in aggregate only. No personal data is collected. You can view the data we collect in their live demo.
Data collected includes referral sources, top pages, visit duration, information from the devices (device type, operating system, country and browser) used during the visit and more. You can see full details in their data policy.

3. Email communication

We may send you emails related to account changes, service updates, or new policies. These administrative emails are mandatory and cannot be opted out of.

Important: We will never ask for your password or sensitive account details via email. If you receive suspicious communication, report it immediately to hello@springreview.com.

4. Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. Your data may only be shared under the following circumstances:

  1. With your explicit consent.
  2. With trusted partners or vendors who adhere to strict data protection standards.
  3. When required by law, such as in response to legal processes or subpoenas.

In the event of legal requests for your information, we will notify you in advance unless prohibited by law. We reserve the right to contest improper data requests.

5. Managing and deleting your information

You can access, modify, or delete your personal information by logging into your Springreview account. Upon deletion, account data may become irretrievable.

Residual copies of deleted data may persist temporarily in our backups or servers to ensure protection against accidental or malicious deletion.

6. Your data protection rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you are entitled to:

  • Access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Submit requests via hello@springreview.com. Such requests will be processed within 30 days.

We may require proof of identity to process your request.

7. Use of cookies

We strive to minimize the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Services. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us improve your experience, such as remembering your preferences or keeping you logged in.

Essential Cookies

We use cookies solely for purposes critical to the functionality and security of our Services, such as:

  • Maintaining your session when you log in.

These cookies are necessary for the operation of our platform and cannot be disabled through user settings.

Optional Cookies

If we ever introduce optional cookies, you will have the option to accept or decline them via a cookie consent banner. This allows you to manage your preferences and provide explicit consent before such cookies are activated.

Respect for “Do Not Track” Signals

Our platform respects “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by your browser. If your browser is set to send a DNT request, we will not track your activity beyond what is necessary for the proper functioning of our Services.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third-party vendors and hosting providers for essential technologies, including hardware, networking, and storage. A list of our data subprocessors is available here.

9. Data security

We implement encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to safeguard data exchanged through our platform.

Although no system is entirely immune to breaches, we continually improve our measures to secure your information against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Users are advised to take precautions, such as using strong passwords.

10. Updates to this Privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy policy at any time. Changes are typically minor, and we encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our Services after policy updates signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
